The defending Class 3A state champion Green Forest Tigers kept their record perfect so far this season with a pair of victories last week.

The Tigers defeated Lincoln 7-0 at home Tuesday, March 26, then topped Eureka Springs 3-0 on Thursday, March 28, on the Highlanders’ home field.

Tee Shee scored two goals and Milton Ortiz added one in the victory over Eureka Springs.

The win was the fifth consecutive shutout for the Tigers (7-0), who have outscored their opponents 35-2 this season.

Green Forest’s girls are also undefeated this season, running their record to 4-0-1 by defeating Lincoln 5-2 and Eureka Springs 1-0.

Lisbet Rosales scored the winning goal against Eureka Springs.

Green Forest’s boys will play at Bergman on Tuesday, April 2, then both the Tigers and Lady Tigers will travel to Bentonville on Thursday, April 4, to take on Thaden. Both Green Forest teams will play at home against Dardanelle on Friday, April 5.

Green Forest’s games against Berryville, originally scheduled for March 14 at Berryville but postponed because of weather, will now be played Monday, April 15, at Green Forest.
