Thester (Tony) Leo Williams, Jr., 73, passed away on May 5th, 2025, in Rogers, Arkansas. Born on December 18th, 1951, in Jonesboro, Louisiana, Tony lived a life marked by dedication to family, faith, and work.

He was the beloved husband of Carol Williams of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and a devoted father to James (Jamie) E. Williams and his wife Leslie of Louisiana; Craig A. McKendall and his wife Mindy of California; and Kirk S. McKendall and his wife Patty of California. He was a proud grandfather to Reagan Williams, Colby Williams, and Maddox Williams of Louisiana; Eric McKendall of California; Matthew McKendall of Illinois; and Amanda McKendall of California.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Thester L. Williams and Alvis L. Bryant Williams, as well as his sister, Virginia (Ginny) Williams.

After attending Louisiana Tech, Tony served honorable in the United States Air Force as a rocket engine mechanic and missile mechanic. Following his military service, he pursued a multifaceted career as a licensed building contractor and owner of Sunland Construction in California, as well as a licensed real estate agent in Arkansas.

In 1980, Tony moved from Louisiana to California, where he continued to grow professionally and personally. In 1999, he retired to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, where he embraced the natural surroundings, he cherished.

A man of deep faith, Tony was a devoted member of Faith Christian Family Church in Eureka Springs. Even when facing pain and sickness, Tony found comfort and even joy in knowing the Lord. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and golfing.

Tony’s legacy is one of service, devotion, and joy. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
