District Mission: Ensuring high levels of learning for everyone, every day!

Hello Bobcat Families & Community! First, thank you so much for supporting our students and staff members this year. We have had a great school year full of accomplishments and celebrations!

Congratulations to the graduating Class of 2024. The scholarship total for this year’s graduates so far is $1,879,144.00. Additional amounts will be added later this month because not all awards have been announced. In addition, 53 seniors earned CTE completer cords this year.

The Intermediate School recently shared that they met their schoolwide academic goals this year. The goal was that 85 percent of students would increase in reading and math by 10 points on the iReady assessment, and/or be on grade level. Congratulations to students and staff members for working so hard this year!

The district will continue to offer the afterschool program, Bobcat Academy, next year. We are looking at expanding the grade spans to include sixth-grade students. We are also considering offering more STEM activities (robotics, drones, etc) and including physical activity options. More information will be forthcoming this summer along with the registration forms.

Even if your child attended this year, you will need to complete new forms for the 2024-2025 academic year. Announcements will be made on our social media outlets and in the newspaper.

Bobcat summer camp for students in grades K-5 will be held June 3-27. Summer school opportunities for middle level and high school are also planned for that same week. Contact your child’s school if you need more information.

Young Bobcats entering Kindergarten this fall through sixth grade are invited to Camp Invention June 3-7, to be held at Berryville Intermediate 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. Information and cost for the program can be found online at invent.org/camp.

Thank you again for partnering with us in your child’s education and for helping us have a great year. Have a wonderful and safe summer!
