Steven Wayne WomackSteven Wayne Womack was born August 10, 1964, in Norman, Oklahoma to Doyal and Patsy (Crawford) Womack. Steven passed away on June 24, 2023, at Rogers, Arkansas at the age of 58.
Steven retired after 30 years of working for the city of Norman, Oklahoma. Then moving to Eureka Springs where he enjoyed boating and owning Starkey Marina. Steven cared about his staff and started the Starkey Scholarship Fund for his employees. He was incredibly funny. His passions were his kids and Starkey Marina. It was questionable though about who would come first, his kids or Starkey Marina. A favorite pastime was spending time with his good buddies on Thirsty Thursday’s.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna Womack of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; daughter, Amber Womack (Angel Vargas) of New Castle, Oklahoma; son, Ryan Womack (Lauren) of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Andrew Womack, Riley Womack, Mattox Miller, Elaina Womack, and Leonidas Womack; brother, Jimmy Don McCord of Conway, Arkansas; step-mother, Marsha Womack of Noble, Oklahoma; other family and friends that will miss him greatly.
Steven is preceded in death by his parents, Doyal Womack and Patsy Crawford.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Scott Reed officiating.
