A state probation and parole officer was issued a citation for second-degree assault after an incident at a Berryville High School football game on Sept. 16, Berryville police chief Robert Bartos confirmed.
Bartos said Friday, Sept. 23, that Danyaile Willing was issued the citation after an altercation at the football game.
Willing was in the parking lot when an officer arrived, Bartos said.
He said no arrests were made because the incident took place outside of an officer’s presence.
Second-degree assault is a Class D misdemeanor in Arkansas.
Willing is the assistant area manager in the Arkansas Division of Community Correction’s Berryville probation office.
