The Berryville Library invites all tweens and teens to spend some time unleashing their inner artists this weekend.
Teens, this is your chance to attend a Bob Ross painting party from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 27, at the Berryville Library. Bob Ross was an American painter and art instructor who created and hosted “The Joy of Painting,” an instructional television program that aired from 1983 to 1994. Bob will attend the party (virtually, of course) to guide everyone through painting a perfect picture while offering plenty of life advice.
There is no fee to attend, and all art supplies, including snacks, will be provided.
For those ages 8 to 12, it will be all about creating some bad art from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at the Berryville Library. Bad Art Night will be a fun and relaxed evening where tweens can get creative, enjoy games and experiment with art and colors as they try to replicate masterpieces with a fun twist. Who knows, a new Michelangelo may be among us!
Once again, there is no fee to attend, and all supplies plus snacks will be provided.
Have a kid who claims they have no artistic talent? That’s not an excuse not to join in on this fun. As Bob Ross once said, “The secret to doing anything is believing that you can do it. Anything that you believe you can do strong enough, you can do. Anything. As long as you believe.”
For more information, call 870-4232323 or visit the library at 104 Spring St. in Berryville.
