Shop With A Cop Chili Cook-Off

Posted

Each fall, The Merlin Foundation hosts its annual Chili Cookoff and Silent Auction with all proceeds going to Carroll County’s Shop With A Cop Christmas program for kids whose families need a little extra help at Christmas time. This year’s event was hosted at Bobcat Arena during the boys basketball games when Berryville hosted Green Forest. Harrison’s Mark Marshall was the chili cookoff champion for the second year and Berryville’s Kim Ray won a custom Butch Hanby knife. Look for Kim’s photo in next week’s edition. At the end of the night more than $7,800 was raised for the Shop with a Cop program! If you would like to donate or get more information about this program, call Kaleigh Evans at 870-517-1681.
