The Shiloh Museum of Ozark History will be at the Berryville Library at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 12 to kick off the Summer Reading Program’s very first ArtVenture of the summer.
The Shiloh Museum serves the public with a vision of children and adults becoming inspired by local history through a better understanding of their natural and cultural heritage. Museum staff will be sharing a bit about the role the Civilian Conservation Corps played in building parks in Northwest Arkansas and a lot about weaving. Those who attend will be able to make and take home their very own Civilian Conservation Corp type felt banner!
All supplies are provided free for this program. All ages may enjoy this special presentation by museum educators! No reservations required. All are welcome.
ArtVentures will be held every other Wednesday throughout June and July. Check the Berryville Library website at berryvillelibrary. org for a full calendar of free events offered this summer.
It’s not too late to sign up for the 2024 summer reading challenges. There are reading challenges for all ages and all reading hours count through July 26.
For more information, call 870)-4232323 or visit the library at 104 Spring St. in Berryville.
