Shane Robert Lee (possum) Anderson of Green Forest was born January 9, 1983, in Berryville, Arkansas to Donald Anderson and Suzanne (Warren) Anderson. Shane passed away May 21, 2022, at his home in Green Forest at the age of 39.
Shane served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He loved to fish and talk about it to anyone who would listen.
He is survived his mother, Suzanne (Warren); father, Donnie Anderson and wife Linda; paternal grandfather, Paul Anderson; brothers, Brandon Anderson and wife Julia of El Paso, Texas, Joey Anderson and wife Joy of Eureka Springs; sisters, Tara Anderson of Harrison, Brandi Skidmore of Greenville, MS, Melissa Boblet of Everton, Arkansas, Angela Armer of Berryville, Christine Kneiss of Eureka Springs; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and friends.
Shane is preceded by his maternal grandparents, Fay and Elaine Warren; paternal grandmother, Sylvia Anderson.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2022, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Steve Thrasher officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to Farmer Cemetery, 227 Apricot Lane, Berryville, AR 72616. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
