Sammie G. Molder of Green Forest, Arkansas was born in Coin, Arkansas to Samuel Dewey and _elma (Collier) Molder on November 5, 1927. Sammie passed away Friday, December 23, 2022, in Berryville at the age of 95.

Sam attended grade school at Coin School house where he was educated through the 8th grade before nishing his education at Green Forest High School. On multiple occasions he would tell stories about making the lengthy three mile walk to catch the school bus. A r graduating, Sam worked with his father building homes around the Green Forest area. He later pursued a job on the pipeline. _e pipeline years were some that he conversed about o n. He spoke of the places he worked and the people he met, many of which became lifelong friends. Sam eventually moved home and took a job working for the Carroll County Road Department, which he retired from to tend to his dearly loved cattle farm. Sam was one to always have a joke and a smile on his face. He was not afraid to ask you to borrow a dollar. If you knew Sam, you knew that he was tight sted. His charm and wit facilitated the reuniting of an old _ame from many many years past. Joy Smith and Sam were united in marriage in 2004. Joy was the absolute love of his life.

Sam was an active member of the United Baptist Church of Green Forest, where he served as a Sunday School Superintendent.

Sam is loved by many and it will be di_cult to say goodbye but have condence in knowing that God has prepared a place. Sam’s invitation has been accepted and he is new again.

Sammie is survived by his wife, Joy Smith Molder of the home; her children, Steve Smith and Ruthie (deceased) of Green Forest, Arkansas and J. R. and Fairye Snow of Green Forest, Arkansas; his son, G.H. Kilgore and Susan of Green Forest, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Mandy Burgess and Ryan of Green Forest, Arkansas and Cody Kilgore of Lewiston, Idaho; ve great-grandchildren, Tristin Burgess, Isabella Burgess, Rosalie Burgess, Nora Burgess and Steele Kilgore; three brothers, Dale Molder and Donna of Lincoln, California, Larry Molder and Sandy of Green Forest, Arkansas, Carroll Molder and Pat of Green Forest, Arkansas; two sisters, Emma Hemingway of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Janet Patrick of Ozark, Arkansas; sisterin- law, Bobbie Molder of Green Forest, Arkansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sammie and _elma Molder; brothers, Russell and Roger Molder; sister, Virginia Molder; brothers-in-law, Glenn Hemingway and Roger Patrick; rst wife, Dolly Wishon Molder.

Visitation was 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel. Funeral services was 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel with brother Jerry Spurlock and Brother Jerry Scitern o_ciating.
