Judy Montgomery, a 22-year Rotary Club member, helps 7-year-old Kayden Foster with a new pair of shoes during the annual Samaritan’s Feet shoe giveaway on Sunday, Aug. 13, in the Eureka Springs High School cafeteria. Montgomery said organizers expected to give away 200 pairs of shoes at the event. Another event will be held at Church on the Hill in Berryville in October. Samaritan’s Feet International was founded by Manny and Tracie Ohonme. This year the program will give away its 10 millionth pair of shoes. (David Bell / Carroll County News)
