YatesRobert Wilson Yates of Berryville was born October 24, 1959, in Kansas City, Kansas, to William and Margaret (Drummond) Yates Sr. Robert passed away June 26, 2024, in Branson at the age of 64.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Robert loved getting a good deal and hitting the garage sales in the area.
March 10, 1995, Robert was united in marriage to Diana (Standlee) Yates who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his mother, Margaret Yates of Pflugerville, Texas; children, Emily Yates, of Oak Grove, Megan Boykin and husband Nick of Nixa, Travis Yates of Oak Grove, Carson Yates of Oak Grove, Jessica Alexander of Joplin, Catherine Collins of Farmington, Amanda Bishop and husband Chris of Green Forest, David Yates and wife Tracey of Conway, Amy Woods and husband Alan of Cedarville, Josh Yates of Alma; 32 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill Yates of Huntsville, Ron Yates and wife Jan of Cliffty; sister, Christi Sanchez of Seguin, Texas along with other family members and friends.
Robert is preceded in death by his father, William Yates Sr.; sister, Cindy McBride.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Boyd Church of God with Pastor Les Robinson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
