District Mission: Ensuring high levels of learning for everyone, every day!
Welcome back to school! We hope all of our families are off to a great start in 2024 and enjoyed a wonderful holiday season. I am very excited about this semester and can’t wait to see what the students and staff accomplish during the coming months.
Although classes were out of session for a couple of weeks, that does not mean the Bobcats have slowed down. Giselle Morfin, a senior cheerleader, was named to the All-State cheer squad as reported on the Arkansas Activities Association webpage. Ms. Morfin has been on the Berryville cheer team for two years.
In addition, seven ninth-grade band students were awarded a seat in the Junior High All-Region Band .
Those students were Israel Merida Noriega, Andrew Griesenauer, Maynor Valiente Cruz, Keily Diaz, Zoey Garrett, Molly Staats, and Reagan Scarrow. Congratulations!
Julia Miller and Alizee Lemus, two middle school students, created and competed at the state level with their business plan titled “Secure Link.”
Their business was named to the top 25 in Arkansas. Julia and Alizee will compete for more honors on EXPO Day on Jan. 26 at 9:30 a.m. Let’s celebrate these two young ladies and continue to cheer them on during the next round of competition!
Teachers were back on the job on Friday, Jan. 5, for a day of professional development. The morning began with a staff breakfast provided by Equity Bank.
We appreciate the ongoing support and treats that Equity provided to our staff that helped get us started after the break.
UPCOMING REMINDERS & EVENTS The after school program, Bobcat Academy, has openings! The program operates Monday- Thursday from 3:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Students are engaged in hands-on activities, receive homework help, and project based learning.
This semester, students will have the opportunity to build drones and learn how to use a 3-D printer! Students also receive a free hot meal each evening. Make plans to send your child to the Bobcat Academy today!
Transportation is provided and the program is FREE. Contact me for more information.
