Pickin’ Panel Champ

Posted

Jason Tennant, president and chief lending officer for CS Bank, recently announced the conclusion of the 2023 CS Bank Pick ’Em Panel in partnership with the Carroll County News. The CS Bank Pick ’Em Panel consisted of eight individuals from around the area who competed against one another to predict winners of collegiate and professional football games. The individual with the best record wins $500 to donate to the local charity of their choice. John David Fowler came out on top as this year’s Pick ’Em Panel winner and chose to donate the funds to the Purple Flower.

“This was our first year to sponsor this contest,” Tennant said. “It was a great way to have some fun and be able to support a very worthy cause. The Purple Flower is a great organization that does outstanding work in area. We hope for this to be the first year of many more to come for the contest. We want to thank Carroll County News for helping us put this together. Congratulations to John Fowler for finishing in first place.”

Established in 2014, The Purple Flower seeks to provide resources, one-on-one support, services as feasible and empowerment to those who have been affected by domestic violence themselves, or who know someone who has been affected within Carroll County. They also work to prevent the occurrence of domestic violence in Carroll County by providing awareness and education to the public.

CS Bank is a $550 million bank with seven locations throughout Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri with plans of continued expansion including a second location in Harrison.
