Phillip Gene Wolfinbarger of Joliet Illinois was born January 20, 1947, to Tillman and Lola (Southerland) Wolfinbarger in Berryville, Arkansas. Phillip passed away February 28, 2022, in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 75.
Phil donated regularly to Habitat for Humanity. He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed it, especially the family. He drove a truck for many years and liked the outdoors, camping, and hiking. He also enjoyed traveling and vacationing with his family. Some of his favorite places to visit were the State Parks out West.
Phil is survived by his children David Wolfinbarger of Joliet, Illinois, Kristy Wolfinbarger of Joliet, Illinois, Michael Wolfinbarger and wife Megan of Spring Lake Michigan; grandchildren Xavier, Emily, Peyton, Madelyn, and Braydon; brothers Jack Wolfinbarger and wife Carolyn of Garfield, Arkansas, Joe Wolfinbarger and wife Becky of Monks Corner, South Carolina, George Earl Wolfinbarger and wife Becky of Kankakee, Illinois, Jim Wolfinbarger and wife Kathy of Berryville, Arkansas, Arlie Wolfinbarger of Bella Vista, Arkansas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
He is preceded by his parents Tillman and Lola Wolfinbarger; sister and brother-in-law Linda and Harry Stout.
Memorial service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville, Arkansas with Keith Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
