Our Pet of the Week is Emma, a sweet, talkative and chunky senior kitty who is looking for a home that will give her all the attention she wants. She will follow you to the ends of the earth if you offer her favorites — catnip and wet food. The way to her heart is definitely treats, but she has more to offer than just that. She likes a stress-free environment that doesn’t have dogs or other cats. However, she’d make a wonderful kitty for the family. The Good Shepherd Humane Society Adoption Center on Highway 62 is open from noon to 5 p.m. every day
