Peggy Ann (High) Wolfinbarger, 93, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026, in Eureka Springs. Born on March 1, 1933, in Berryville, Arkansas, with her siblings, Peggy lived a life marked by faith, love, and devotion to her family and community.
Peggy was the beloved daughter of Milton Roy High and Linne Bell Smith. She grew up in Berryville, alongside her seven brothers and six sisters. A devoted homemaker, Peggy found joy in caring for her family and creating a warm and loving home. Her passion for gardening reflected her nurturing spirit as she cultivated beauty both in her garden and in the lives of those around her. Peggy’s pie crusts and homemade bread were legendary comforting, familiar.
A woman of deep faith, Peggy attended the Faith Tabernacle Church in Galena, Missouri. Her unwavering commitment to Christ was evident in every aspect of her life. Known for her kind heart and generous nature, Peggy always had a smile that could brighten any room. She was loved by everyone who knew her and was deeply respected within the community.
She is survived by a large and loving family who will cherish her memory forever: daughters Yolanda Weinmann of Berryville; Anita (Mac) McDonald of Phoenix Arizona; Rebekah (Tory) Smith of Eureka Springs; sons Michael (Barbara) Wolfinbarger of Eureka Springs; Kenneth (Lisa) Wolfinbarger of Eureka Springs; Stephen Wolfinbarger of Eureka Springs; Freddie Wolfinbarger of Eureka Springs; brothers Kenneth Roy High, Gary High, Arlis High, and Lester High all of Berryville, Larry High of Cabot ; sisters Marlene Webb and Carolyn Fultz; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Delano Wolfinbarger; her parents; Milton Roy High and Linnie Bell High, her son: Kevin Wolfinbarger; grandchildren Lacy Wolfinbarger, Hacken Wolfinbarger, Valicity Piper, and Joseph Aaron Weinmann; sisters Berniece Dignon, Maxine Smith, Daisy Swofford, and June Horton; and brothers Marvon High and Danny High.
Peggy’s legacy is one of love and faithfulness. She touched countless lives with her kindness and generosity. Her memory will live on through the many lives she impacted with her big heart and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Friday, April 10, 2026, at Charles M Nelson Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, April 11,2026 at Charles M Nelson Memorial Chapel.
