To give you an opportunity to see what's new, and what has changed, we have taken the paywall down temporarily.
Currently, there is no need to log into the site.
We will provide instructions for creating new account and resetting passwords when the paywall is turned back on.
A paywall for www.CarrollCoNews.com will be established Wednesday, Oct. 5. While obituaries will always stay in front of the paywall and be available to all online readers going forward, subscribers will need to reset their passwords to gain access to their accounts for e-editions and viewing of all other site content. Here are the details:
■Subscribers will need to reset their passwords to gain access to their accounts and site content.
■An email message was scheduled to be sent to to subscribers just before the paywall was activated with instructions on how to reset their password. Another email message with that information should be sent today (Oct. 4).
■Subscribers will begin receiving their digital issue in their email; it will have a picture of and a link to the current edition.
■For issues with logging in, the site display, viewing site content, or signing up for a plan, subscribers can call the Subscriber Helpdesk at 973-541-4210 or email subscriberhelp@cherryroad.com
With the paywall now up, non-subscribers will be able to read a few lines of each article on www.CarrollCoNews. com, but then will see a prompt to sign in or register for a plan.
Being a subscriber supports local journalism and the Carroll County News journalists working here in the community. Subscription plans are also simplified with CherryRoad Media as well.
To become a print and/ or digital subscriber, you can call the Carroll County News office at 870-423-6636.
Print subscribers who have not signed up for online access can click the “Subscribe” button on the top right to get the online subscription form.
