Patricia “Patsy” Ann Carlton of Oak Grove, Arkansas was born August 20, 1939 in Yocum, Arkansas to William “Bill” and Lorene (Reece) Peden. Patsy went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, March 28, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Patsy was a member of Christ Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church and a founding member of the Grandma Club. She spent many years as a beautician, the church secretary, Sunday school teacher, and pianist. She also served on the Oak Grove City Council, Interim Mayor, and ran the Water Department. Patsy loved cooking, baking, sewing, and doing crossword puzzles. Most of all she had a great love for her family. Her sweet spirit and smile will be remembered and missed by many.

On February 16, 1957 Patsy married Jerry Lee Carlton who survives her of the home. She is also survived by her sons, Jackie Carlton (Janita) and Jerry Dale Carlton (Jacklynn) both of Green Forest, Arkansas; daughters, Leanne Robinson of Lexington, Oklahoma and Lisa Martin (Ed) of Edmond, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren: Jerrod, Josh, Janessa, Ashleigh, Alyssa, Andrea, Reece, Parker, Amber, Alaina, Charity and Aaron; seven great-grandchildren: Malachi, Kenzie, Kaden, Sam, Caroline, Sienna and Adrian; one brother, Jack Peden (Debbie) of Omaha, Arkansas; one sister, Elaine Church (Mervin) of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill” and Lorene Peden; brother, Bill Peden and sonin- law, Bruce Robinson.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel, in Green Forest. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 3, 2023, at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel with Pastor Josh Shields and Pastor William Meadors o_ciating.
