Pam Fuller

Posted

On June 14th, Pam went to heaven after enduring a long illness. She was born in Lubbock, TX on December 9th, 1949, to Arthur Floyd “Hap” and Mary (Booth) Wright. She is survived by Randy her husband of 52 years; daughter, Amanda Fuller; granddaughter, Camryn Casey; and beloved dog, Tucker. She is preceded in death by her parents; uncle, James Booth; maternal grandparents, Dink and Charlette Booth; and paternal grandparents.

After moving to Hardy, AR with her parents when she was a teenager, Pam met Randy in high school. They both are graduates of Highland High School class of 1968. They would marry in 1970 and start a wonderful journey together. In 1986, they would move their family to Holiday Island, AR where they have lived ever since.

Pam had a long career in Insurance. She began working as a secretary at the Shelter Insurance Fuller Agency in Melbourne, AR and then working for Shelter Insurance Stewart Agency in Highland, AR. She would later become a licensed agent and open her own agency in Holiday Is land, AR under Farmers Insurance. Her hard work and dedication would build a thriving agency where she served the small community for 27 years before retiring due to health issues in 2013.

Before her illness, Pam loved to be outdoors with her family camping and fishing. When her daughter was in high school, Pam never missed a basketball game and was “Smurf’s” biggest fan and supporter. She loved the time she was able to spend with her only granddaughter when she was younger and would beam with pride and joy telling others about her little sweetie pie. Pam was a light that shined bright and was always someone you could count on.

A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville.
