Green Forest Middle School will host an open house for grades 6-8 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10.

Student schedules will be available during open house. Please come by the cafeteria to pick them up along with verification and lunch forms. Students will meet their teachers and tour the buildings.

The first day of school will be Tuesday, Aug. 15.

There will be no school on Mondays in the 202324 school year. Please make arrangements to schedule as many appointments Mondays.

School drop-off will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the school day will end at 4:20 p.m. The first week will be an adjustment for bus rider times. Please call the school before 2 p.m. anytime there is a transportation change.

Turn in all required handbook forms as soon as possible. Please fill out lunch forms even if you don’t think you will qualify.

Daily supplies like paper, pencils and binders will be provided by the school. Please provide your child with a backpack, water bottle and lunch box if needed.
