Oliver Christopher Wallace of Green Forest was born April 26, 1959, in Yellville, Arkansas to Oliver and Margaret (Jones) Wallace. Chris passed away April 11, 2025, in Rogers at the age of 65.
Chris graduated from Green Forest where he played football and basketball for years. He was an avid turkey hunter and also hunted deer. Chris was a member of the N.W.T.F., Christian Cowboys of the Ozarks. He enjoyed learning the history of the Civil War, and the history of the American Indians. Chris would hunt arrowheads from a young age as well as teaching himself how to chip out his own arrowheads. He loved watching the Razorbacks. Chris’s family was most important to him especially his grandchild.
January 8, 1983, Chris was united in marriage to Connie (Hayes) Wallace who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his children, Oliver Jacob Wallace of Green Forest, Mary Wallace and Austin Patton of Harrison; grandchildren, Oliver Colton Emery Wallace; sisters, Kathy Palmer and husband Miles of North Carolina, Djini Grassman and husband Gary of Green Forest.
Chris is preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Margaret Wallace.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel with Brother Doug Blevins officiating.
