Nola Ray Hawkins of Alpena, Arkansas was born April 29, 1938, to Clarence and Alma (Rory) Tilley. Nola passed away May 31, 2022, in Alpena at the age of 84.
She enjoyed gardening, baking, crafts, yard sales and spending time with the family.
Nola is survived by her children, Ronnie Dotson and wife Shawn, Steven Dotson, Donald Dotson, Murie Dotson; step-daughters, Sheryle Roberts, Riana Thomas and husband Matthew; sisters, Helen Kennedy, Janice Douglas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with other family members and friends.
She is preceded by her parents, Clarence and Alma Tilley; husband, Orual Hawkins Jr.; stepchildren, Darold Hawkins, Linda Lynch; sisters, Lorene Brownlow, Virgie Douthit, Lillie Boom, Dorothy Pasley; infant daughter, Carlotta Dotson.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 6, 2022, at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel with Mitchell Scitern officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
