Matthew Jay Hausman of Green Forest, Ark. was born Sept. 22, 2003, in Green Forest, Ark. to Daniel Hausman and Laura Lucille (Walker) Cisco. Matthew passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022, in Berryville, at the age of 18.
Matthew had a great love for his family. He had many interests, some of which included reading, gaming (whether playing or designing), coding, mythology, and music. He was a Christian who loved helping others by lifting them up when they were down. Matthew loved puns and word play and was always trying to put a smile on someone’s face. He was also creative with food and drinks by making new flavors. His school activities included EAST, FFA and JAG.
Matthew is survived by his mother, Laura Cisco; step-father, Tommy Cisco; father, Daniel Hausman; grandmothers, Rosalie Walker and Donna Cisco; grandfathers, Michael Cisco Sr. and William Jay Hausman; sisters, Alex Avery, Elizabeth Hausman and Bonnie Hausman; brothers, Owen Cisco and Samuel Hausman; brother-in-law, Andrew Avery; nephew, Kelley Smith; great-grandmother, Loretta Davis; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Bonnie Hausman and Barbara Walker and grandfather, Larry Walker Sr.
A candlelight memorial will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2022, located at the front doors of the Berryville High School.
A memorial service was 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel, with Brother Mark Bryant officiating.
