Marilyn (Mize) Byler was born August 17, 1933, in Landis, Arkansas to Ray and Lisa Mize. Marilyn departed this life Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the age of 90.

In 1948, at the age of 15, Marilyn was crowned Miss Searcy County. On December 4, 1954, she was united in marriage to Clarence Edward Byler. She was a co-owner of Heuer Shoe Store on the Berryville Square from 19591987. She loved to read, paint, write, and sew.

Marilyn is survived by her son, Steve Byler of Arlington, Texas; daughter, Judith Ross and her husband Dale of Rogers, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Brittany Rickaway of Dallas, Texas and Cody Miller and his wife Chela of Duncanville, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Nathan, Felix, and Scarlett, as well as other family and

friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Byler and her parents, Ray and Lisa Mize.
