Margaret Louise Holmes “Peggy”[/caption]Margaret Louise Holmes “Peggy”, age 65, of Green Forest, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023, in Berryville, Arkansas. She was born on April 12, 1958, in Norfolk, Virginia.
Margaret had a love for the beach and particularly Cape Hatteras as that is where she spent the best years as a child. She grew up in a military household and traveled all around the United States. She was an avid reader and collected plants.
She is survived by her two daughters, Virginia Lynn Altstatt and husband Rusty of Alpena, Arkansas and Carol Danlyn “Dani” Burkett and husband Daniel of Green Forest, Arkansas. She has four grandsons that were the light of her life, Brennin Tranbarger, Christopher Altstatt, Jackson Burkett and Oliver Burkett. She is also survived by two brothers, Daniel Leon Tranbarger and wife Selina of Corpus Christi, Texas and Charles Wally Blinn of Norfolk, Virginia. She has one niece, Tessa Tranbarger of Corpus Christi, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles R. Blinn of Norfolk, Virginia and Sally S. Davis of Lindreth, New Mexico and adopted father, Guy Eugene Tranbarger of Green Forest, Arkansas.
There will be no memorial service as Peggy’s wishes were to be cremated. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
