The lunch period provided a special opportunity for Berryville Elementary School students on Friday, Sept. 15. It was the annual “Lunch With Loved Ones” day, when parents, grandparents and other special people in the lives of students were invited to come to the school and have lunch with their students. Loved ones could dine on school lunchroom fare or bring in a meal from outside. After eating, many students showed their loved ones around, here with fifth-graders showing off the pond at the outdoor classroom.
