Lorene H. Williams of Berryville, Arkansas was born April 9, 1924 in the High Community, Arkansas to Frank and Myrtle (Baker) High. Lorene departed this life _ursday, December 15, 2022 at the age of 98.
Lorene was known for her cooking and could make some “mean” gravy. Her family always looked forward to eating at her house. She loved to quilt with some of the ladies in the area. She also enjoyed the wagon trains, especially the one from Harrison to Springdale. Lorene was a member of Living Faith Church.
On June 10, 1942 Lorene married Ernest N. Williams who passed away January 30, 1998. _is loving marriage was blessed with ve children: Joyce Allen (deceased) and husband Ken and their children Brian, Angela, Stacy, and Kelli; Janice Allen (deceased) and husband Jerry and their children Jo Ann, Je and Jerrica; Darrell Williams and wife Leta and their children Robin, Leslie, and Dustin; Richard Williams (deceased) and wife Susie and their children Heather, Jay Dean, Derrick, and Pete; Karen Pyatt and husband Duggie and their children Kendra, Kody, and Justin; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, many other relatives, friends, and neighbors. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Williams; parents, Frank and Myrtle High; sisters, Darlene Johnson, Jimmie D. Hill and Donna Smith.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2022 at Living Faith Church with Pastor Doby Williams o_ciating. Interment to follow at High Cemetery.
