Library presents Waist Management sessions

Posted

The Berryville Library will be hosting a special three-session workshop on Monday evenings in April to learn all about food and waist management.

Led by Diana Shiell, a retired nurse and lifelong advocate of good nutrition, each session will focus on presenting lots of food for thought while leaving plenty of time for questions and answers.

The sessions kicked off Monday, April 1 with a focus on macronutrients. The second session to be held Monday, April 8, will focus on BMR not BMI and the final session on April 15 will focus on All Those Diets!

There is no fee to attend, and registration is not required. The information presented in each session will be built on what has been discussed previously but it is not required to attend all three sessions.

“Knowledge is power,” Shiell said. “People don’t realize they can be hurting themselves with certain foods they are eating. They don’t feel well and don’t know why.” “Good nutrition is the basis of good health” Shiell added. It’s never too late to create healthy habits. Join your friends at the Berryville Library on Mondays in April and start your journey to a healthier you!
