Library launches drop-off program

Posted

Are you a parent or guardian pursuing your own studies? ExperiMentals Mondays at the Berryville Library can help!

Beginning Monday. June 5, parents needing a little time to pursue their own studies or attend evening classes are welcome to drop their school-aged children off at the library on Monday evenings this summer. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., library staff will provide supervision and lead fun activities to keep your child entertained and learning new things while you study.

Parents will need to come into the library to sign their child in and out each Monday evening and provide contact information.

“We are pleased to support parents pursuing additional education. The benefit of lifelong learning is well documented and researched and not only is it good for brain and mental health, but continuing education could also lead to beneficial career advancements while helping develop practical skills,” said Berryville Library Director Julie Hall.

For more information on this program, contact the Berryville Public Library at 104 Spring St. in Berryville or call 870-4232323.
