The Berryville Library has several events coming up:
• Learn the basics of archery and range safety from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, at Berryville’s Luther Owens Memorial Park (1300 Chafin Road) for an Arkansas Game & Fish lesson on shooting arrows into Olympic-style targets.
This is part of the Berryville Library’s Adventure in a Park summer program series where participant get outside and explore some of Berryville’s great city parks!
The library also encourages those so inclined to get outside and become an official Junior Forest Ranger. This Adventure Guide shows you how tasks can be completed when and how you want. You can pick up a printed copy at the library anytime this summer and will earn small rewards for each task in the guide you complete and report at the library before July 26.
• Kids ages 8 to 12, get ready to tap your inner SPIDER-MAN as you swing your way into the Spider- Verse Pajama Party at the Berryville Library from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 22.
This isn’t a sitback- and-enjoy type of movie showing. Invite your friends, wear your comfy PJs, and be part of the show. This event will be tons of fun and the best part is there will be plenty of free snacks, too.
On Monday, June 25, the library will host Matt Sandbank’s Shadow Factory for the third Adventure on Stage event from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Berryville High School’s Performing Arts Center.
The show will feature puppets, poems and pandemonium as Matt Sandbank and his shadow puppets visit all the way from North Carolina to go off on a wild goose chase. Who knows where this adventure may lead?
The Performing Arts Center is located at 501 Bobcat Drive. Park in the high school parking lot just behind Sonic.
For more information on any of these events, call 870-4232323 or visit the library at 102 Spring St.
