Leticia Lynn Urioste of Berryville, Arkansas, was born in Long Beach, California, to Michael Urioste and Linda (Holder) Urioste on July 31, 1971. Leticia passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022, in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 51.
Leticia had a great love for her family and loved being a mom. She took extreme pride in her children and their various achievements.
She was a lover of all animals and fostered many over the years. She enjoyed being in nature with her children. She was raised around Volkswagens and always had a VW bug in her back yard, preferably a 1971. One characteristic of Leticia was her funky patterned socks.
Leticia’s smile was one of a kind and her spirit will continue through the relationships she had with others.
Leticia is survived by her daughter - Jazmin Urioste, sons - Jarod and Jayden Urioste, grandchildren - Reece and Venus Urioste, mother - Linda Palmer, sisters - Michelle Schlumpberger, Kimberly Bickle and Heather Urioste, as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded by her father - Michael Thomas Urioste, brother - Michael Urioste, grandparents - Manuel and Philomena Urioste, Beatrice Thomas (Grandma Dolly) and Frank Holder, niece - Brittany Schlumpberger, and beloved granddog - Annie.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Nelson’s Chapel of the Springs. Memorial donations may be made to GoFundMe by searching “Urioste” to help the family with final expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
