If there’s any soccer team in Arkansas riding more of a hot streak than the Green Forest Tigers, it might be the Lady Tigers.
Green Forest’s girls picked up two more wins last week — beating Eureka Springs 11-0 and Life Way Christian 7-0 — and have now won seven consecutive games and 11 of 12 against in-state competition. That seven-game winning streak includes six shutouts and a combined scoring margin of 61-1.
Emily Lozano had three goals and Hanya Fuentes added two against Eureka Springs, while Stephanie Lopez, Samantha Delavin, Samantha Uvieta, Sanda Win, Kayla Lozano and Kimberly Lozano added one apiece.
On Senior Night against Life Way, the Lady Tigers had seven players with one goal apiece: Fuentes, Uvieta, Win, Kayla Lozano, Kimberly Lozano, Blanca Galindo and Mariana Beltran.
