The Berryville Lady Bobcats picked up a nice victory on the road on Tuesday, Dec. 20, defeating Shiloh Christian 38-32 in Springdale.
The win even the Lady Bobcats’ conference record at 1-1 after Berryville lost to Farmington four nights earlier at Bobcat Arena.
“We executed our defensive game plan real well and we limited our turnovers,” Berryville coach Daniel Cornelison said. “We have to do that against them because they press full-court. We did a nice job of taking care of the basketball and keeping them out of transition.”
The Lady Bobcats led 22-12 at halftime. Senior guard Hannah Youngblood led Berryville with 15 points while junior Mia Thurman added 10.
Berryville will play Monticello in the first round of the 13th annual CS Bank Holiday Hoops tournament on Wednesday at Bobcat Arena. Tipoff is expected to be around 6 p.m.
