Why are you seeking this office, and what experience or perspective best prepares you to serve effectively?

“I am seeking the position of Justice of the Peace for a fourth term because I want to do my part. Being part of the process in making decisions that affect my friends and neighbors is very important to me. My experience is that I have held this position since 2019, so I am well prepared to continue my service to our county.”

What do you see as the most important issue facing your district right now, and what specific actions would you take to address it if elected?

“Above everything, fiscal responsibility and public safety. Being on the budget committee allows me firsthand access to make sure county money is being spent responsibly. Addressing public safety by making sure our Sheriff’s department receives everything they need to keep our citizens safe.”

How do you approach budgeting, taxpayer dollars and long-term financial responsibility at the level of government you are seeking to serve?

“I have served on the budget committee ever since I have been a Justice of the Peace. I think our budget committee works well together. During my terms, we have never had a bad report from the auditors. We start our budget meetings in October for the next year, and the public is invited to attend and see just how we go about making our budgeting decisions.”
