Karen Jennell Gass of Shell Knob, Missouri was born January 4, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio to Pinkney Rutherford, Jr and Nelta Faye (Langley) Rutherford.
Karen passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 63.
She loved her family deeply and made them her first priority. She enjoyed cooking, spending time at the lake waterskiing, camping, live music, and dancing Karen married her husband, Jackie Gass Sr, on March 15, 1985.
He along with their children Jackie Gass Jr, Jason Gass, Kimberly Griffin, Jacqueline Jennell Gass, and Trevor Gass will miss her Greatly. She found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren Emily, Alex, Madison, Skylar, Aiden, Mackenzie, Charlie, Toren, Arlo, and Lucy.
She is preceded in death by her parents Pinkney and Nelta.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the Gass Cemetery with Jackie Gass Jr. officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Shell Knob Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to pancan.org for research on Pancreatic Cancer.
