June Elaine Tucker (Tuck) was born February 9, 1928, in Guymon, Oklahoma to Charles and Ilma (Hamby) Tucker. Tuck passed away January 24, 2024, peacefully in her sleep at home with her two cats by her side at the age of 95.

She was a long-time resident of the Grassy Knob area in Eureka Springs, retiring and moving in the 1980s. Tuck served her country in the Air Force during the Korean War.

She received her certificate in Physical Therapy from Stanford University of California. She was employed at the City-County Hospital in Fort Worth as a physical therapist following her graduation from college. While in Fort Worth she was a physical therapist treating patients in their homes. Prior to her retirement in 1981 she was the assistant director of the physical therapy program at the University of Texas Medical Branch, John Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas, where she was also an academic professor and clinical education supervisor for the students in the physical therapy program.

Tuck is survived by her two brothers, Virgil Tucker of Boulder, Colorado and S.E. Tucker of Chandler, Arizona; one sister, Sandra Hauser of Alamosa, Colorado; niece, Chrstine Hauser and nephew, Scott Hauser, as well as other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ilma Tucker and sister, Charlene Colbert.
