John B. Butler of Eureka Springs, Ark.was born Jan. 2, 1957, in Wichita, Kan. to John Thomas and Robert Irene (Roberts) Butler. John passed away Friday, May 6, 2022, at his home in Eureka Springs, at the age of 65.
John, also known as “Curb Guy”, worked for the City of Eureka Springs, Ark. He was a painter and all-around handy man who brought a smile to everyone. John served as a Sargeant in the Air Force and received an Air Force Commendation Medal.
John is survived by his sisters, Samara R. Kiser (Dennis) of Salina, Kan. and Benita Freeman of Virginia Beach, Va.; nephews, Dominick Kiser (Kellie) of Overland Park, Kan. and John M. Livingston (Amanda); niece, Laura Harden; many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Butler; mother, Roberta Freeman; and his sister, LaHonda Buie.
