Jenetta Fultz Murphy of Pea Ridge was born May 21, 1939, in Rudd, Arkansas to Willie and Ellie (Burks) Fultz. Jenetta passed away peacefully at home on December 4, 2024, in Pea Ridge at the age of 85.

She attended the Green Forest United Baptist Church for 15 years and was a member of the Rebekah’s. She enjoyed singing praises to the Lord at church, on the Bentonville square and at Clifty. Jenetta loved to bowl and play softball in her younger years. She enjoyed her plants and flowers. Her favorite pastime was cooking for family and friends. Everyone loved her fried chicken, biscuits and gravy, and her homemade pies. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

June 2, 1961 Jenetta was united in marriage to Gene Murphy of Pea Ridge. She is survived by her husband; daughters, Annette Murphy Sackhoff and husband Jeff of Conway, Becky Murphy Welch and husband Troy of Rogers; brothers, Junior Fultz of Kechi, Kansas, James Fultz of Berryville; sister, Hazel Parker of Berryville; grandchildren, Beth Donovan of Ridgway, Illinois, Kyle Sackhoff and wife Rachel of Conway, Caleb Sackhoff of Conway; great-grandchildren, Aaron Terpening, Andrew Donovan, Reagan Phillips, Ruth Sackhoff; along with nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

Jenetta was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Ellie Fultz; brother, Jewel Fultz; sisters, Jamima Gehl and Joyce Kriesel.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m., Monday, December 9, 2024, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jerry Spurlock officiating. Burial will follow at Gobbler Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
