James Donald Seitz of Berryville, Arkansas was born October 14, 1941, in Kingston, Arkansas to Kenneth Leroy and Elsie Virginia (Mitchell) Seitz. Don passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 80.
Don was known as a man of few words. He was a loving, patient man who enjoyed fishing, pulling pranks, and telling jokes. His family was everything to him.
On February 25, 1965, Don was united in marriage to Linda Sue (Hency) Seitz, who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his son Rickey Don Seitz and daughters Rhonda Joyce Sutton and Lesa Rana Hayes all of Berryville, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; sister Lena Mae Davis of Green Forest, Arkansas; along with many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Don is preceded by his parents Kenneth and Elsie Seitz; brothers Gerald and Eugene Seitz; sisters Loretta Hutchinson and Lorena Seitz.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel. Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. following the visitation with Pastor Keith Butler officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
