The second weekend in June is always a special time in the city of Berryville: It’s time for the Annual Berryville Ice Cream Social!
The 39th Annual Ice Cream Social will be held Friday and Saturday, June 13-14, on the historic Berryville Square.
Tyson Foods — Carroll County’s largest employer — is the presenting sponsor for the fifth consecutive year while Hiland Dairy is in its third year as the product provider for the Ice Cream Social.
As always, there will be plenty to see and do at this year’s Ice Cream Social, from live music on the Equity Bank stage and a variety of vendor booths starting Friday, June 13, to the 5K run hosted by Grandma’s House and the Berryville Kiwanis Club’s annual youth fishing derby on Saturday, June 14.
Two new events this year will be a cornhole tournament on the campus of Mercy hospital on Saturday, June 14 — and don’t miss the all-you-can-eat catfish and corn dogs lunch — and the Aspen Linz Memorial ragball tournament and barbecue, also on Saturday, June 14, at A.L. Carter Fields.
Add it all together — and cross your fingers for some pleasant late-spring weather — and it’s sure to be a grand time for the whole family!
