Iris L. (Hill) Rowe

Iris L. (Hill) Rowe, of Berryville, died peacefully Monday, January 15, 2024. Iris was born on March 20, 1929 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, a daughter of Ernest and Leatha (Tetlow) Hill.

Iris was a homemaker, who once her children were out of school, worked at a professional photo processing lab. Upon retirement, she was an active volunteer at Mercy Hospital. She worked at its thrift store for many years. She loved being outdoors and gardening. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

On May 30, 1946, Iris was united in marriage to William E. (Bill) Rowe, who preceded her in death in 1998. She is also preceded by daughter, Mary Ellen; parents, Ernest and Leatha Hill; and two brothers, Herbert and Henry.

She is survived by her son, William S. Rowe (Natalie) of Niles, Michigan; her daughters, Patricia S. Cline of Berryville, Arkansas and Louise I. Landis (Chuck) of Berryville, Arkansas; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, multiple nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Michael Daniel officiating. Meeting with family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. before the service.
