Grandma’s House Children’s Advocacy Center hosted the Ice Cream Social 5K on June 14, along with presenting sponsor, Kings River Athletic Club.
The race saw more than 115 participants and raised more than $5,300 for child abuse victims! Mercy Hospital in Berryville took home the benefactor of the year award while Anabel Trujillo won the Women’s Overall with a time of 24:10 and Geronimo Arrizon won the Men’s Overall with a time of 18:45.
Special thanks to Berryville Rotary members for volunteering to man the route and keep everyone on safe, hydrated and on track! Thank you to all who came out to run, walk or jog all while helping raise awareness and spreading hope for the children seen by Grandma’s House.
