The 37th Annual Berryville Ice Cream Social was held Friday and Saturday, June 9-10, on the Berryville Square and Debbie Jecker, director of the Berryville Chamber of Commerce, said the event was a big success.
“It was overwhelming,” Jecker said Monday. “We were all so worried the rain was going to clobber us, but it didn’t. It was a really fun event.”
For the third consecutive year, Tyson Foods was the presenting sponsor for the Ice Cream Social. Hiland Dairy joined the event this year, supplying all the ice cream.
Jecker said everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
“The food vendors all did great,” she said. “The music was phenomenal. And the weather wound up being really good.”
