The Greater Berryville Area Chamber of Commerce has named Ashley Hinton its new executive director.

Hinton has served as a member of the chamber’s board of directors for three years and has been involved in chamber events and other activities in the community. She is also a proud board member of the Carroll County Historical Society.

“On behalf of the Greater Berryville Chamber of Commerce and the entire community, we extend our warmest welcome to our new Chamber Executive Director,” board president James Myatt said. “As a noard member, Ashley has proven herself to be a great community leader and can get things done. As a business owner and community leader she has business savvy and can juggle many balls at once. Under Ashley’s leadership I’m confident that our chamber and business community can expect great leadership.”

Hinton is the owner of Trusted Advisors Insurance Agency, United Country- CountrySide Realty and Patagium Consulting LLC in Berryville. She has an extensive background of leadership from restaurant/hospitality management, district management for AT&T Retail, property/casualty insurance, director of business development for Olde School Marketing of Berryville and consultant for companies like community-minded farm outfit, Kings River Produce in Eureka Springs.

Since arriving in Berryville around 2020, Hinton has worked to establish her businesses and presence in the business community and developed a passion for the community through work with the chamber and the Historical Society. “The city is looking forward to working with Ashley and the Chamber to promote Berryville as a great place to live, work and do business.” Berryville Mayor Tim McKinney said. “I believe her background and energy will be a valuable asset to both the city and the Chamber.”

“Since I was introduced to the Berryville Chamber of Commerce, my time as a board member has been pivotal to my personal and career growth, has helped me see the benefits of a community- minded business environment, and has inspired a passion to serve the Carroll County community … especially Berryville,” Hinton said. “My involvement with the chamber has continued to grow and evolve, and this opportunity has positioned me to be able to be a more integral part of the success of the business community in Berryville. Seeing a need and feeling a call to serve, God pulled me into a new hope that he has something very important for me to do here, and I couldn’t be happier to be able to serve the Berryville and Carroll County communities simultaneously. I look forward so much to this new opportunity! Together we will be creating a better world to live and work in this community.”

Hinton replaces former executive director, Kait Ballinger and will officially begin her new position on May 1.
