In a joint project the Berryville Lions Club and Equity Bank, Berryville were able to make a donation of $800 in cash and several pounds of food to the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry on Bunch Springs Road in Berryville. The local service organization holds an annual event on the parking lot of Equity Bank, explained Craig Kesner, Equity Bank Berryville branch president. “The event is a document shredding service and disposal service,” Kesner said. Lions Club member Lyman Squires explained that though the service is provided at no charge, donations of cash and food items are accepted. Lions Club members and Equity Bank employees recently made a presentation to staff and volunteers at the food bank.
