The Friends of the Berryville Library are selling tickets for their upcoming raffle to raise funds for the new library.
The “Make It a Summer of Adventure” raffle is being presented this year by Tonya Williams Agency, Shelter Insurance and features a chance to win $1,000 cash and eight other great prizes to help spark a variety of local adventures for those young or old. The winners will be drawn at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 8, during the Ice Cream Social. You do not have to be present to win. Tickets are $5 each or five tickets for $20.
In addition to the $1,000 grand prize, prizes include two 2-night stay and spa retreats in Eureka Springs, one at the Crescent Hotel, the other at the Basin Park Inn; and a camping gear kit donated by Walmart. Carroll County Broadcasting has donated a train ride for four on the Arkansas Missouri Railroad which departs out of Springdale and goes to Van Buren and back, along with two 4-person kayaking trips on Turkey Creek in Branson. So that your car will also be ready for the adventure, Clay Maxey has donated two oil changes; and to keep that car and all your other devices charged and ready Battery Outfitters has donated a NOCO jump starter.
Tickets are on sale now through June 8 at the Berryville Public Library, located at 104 Spring St.; Tonya Williams- Shelter Insurance, located at 125 N. Main St.; and It’s A Mystery Bookstore located on the Berryville Square.
All proceeds from the raffle will help support the Berryville Library Building Project.
