Fred Henry Hatcher of Rogers, Arkansas was born on August 11, 1935 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas to Jesse Wayne and Agnes LeNorah (Evans) Hatcher. Fred passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023 in Rogers, at the age of 87.
Fred was a Minister of the Gospel who preached in many of the local churches. He enjoyed reading, playing guitar, singing, eating good food, and spending time with family and friends.
Fred is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Betty Joann Wallace Hatcher; daughters, Linda Robinson (Jackie), Betty Ann Bell (Tom), Debbie Treib (Steve) and Cindy Carroll (Zane); brother, Junior Smith; sister, Pauline Peterson (late, George Peterson); 13 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Agnes Hatcher and his son, Freddie Lee Hatcher Sr. Visitation was 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel. Funeral services were 10:00 a.myrtlem., Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Brother John Hile and Brother Jerad Finch officiating.
