On Sept. 22, Eureka Springs Mayor Butch Berry joined the Abendschone Chapter NSDAR and American Legion Post 9 in dedicating the historic fire bell and the Spanish-American War memorial in Basin Park. After the ceremony, members of the DAR met at Eureka Springs Cemetery to place a wreath on the grave of Spanish-American War Rough Rider James E Wilson.
