No injuries were reported in a fire at Tyson Foods’ Berryville plant on Friday, Dec. 1, and Berryville fire chief Shannon Chester said the fire was quickly extinguished.
Chester said oil from a leaking line caught fire.
“When it’s being fed by spraying oil, it looks pretty bad but we were able to get it under control probably within five minutes,” Chester said.
